PROJECT MANAGER / ASST.PROJECT MANAGER - DicoTech Qatar WLL

JOB PURPOSE

Delivers project results as per contractual requirements and within budget. Ensures project documentation. Job is responsible to ensure safety and quality at project sites.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly resource budget

• Initiate, arrange and allocates material and labor resources for the assigned project

• Schedules review of project performance, expenditures, analyzes variances, initiates corrective actions

• Reports delays to management (internally) and to customer (externally)

• Controls waste and ensures optimum resource utilization.

• Pre-empts and minimize project-related problem and actively seeks solutions

• Complete projects within allocated resources

• Manage project deliverables though effective delegation to site engineers and supervisors

• Ensures project deliverable as per contract and customer satisfaction

• Delivers project as per HSE, TQM standards

• Attends and resolves customer complaints

• Continuous development of self and team on project

management practices, quality and safety

• Suggests new process and change / improves current

process to achieve efficiency

• Manages staffing and performance of team ensuring training needs are addressed for each individual.

• Upgrades self and team’s professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Ensures transfer of knowledge and cross-job rotations to create second line of team members and candidates for upper grades.

• Coaches, trains and mentor site engineers and supervisors

• Develops high potentials and engage high performers

• Develops technical knowledge-base of his function
