Work under Associate General Counsel and as team leader as a primary source of legal information and ensure provision of consistency advice as requested.
Draft, review and assist in negotiating contracts to serve the best interests of QF and ensure enforceability of contracts.
Guide the legal registration process for new institutions associated with QF to efficiently incorporate new centers/subsidiaries.
Advise on QF’s compliance with International and Qatari Law and any other applicable law to mitigate any risk of legal action against the Foundation.
Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents for reference and citation in the course of executing legal functions.
Represent Legal Department in meetings with the President, Centers and Divisions to provide legal assistance as required.
Follow-up on legal agreements to ensure that they are submitted and completed efficiently and effectively and respond to any queries as appropriate.
Liaise and advise centers on legal issues to ensure compliance with QF’s legal framework, signed contracts and agreements.
Liaise and coordinate with QF external legal counsels to resolve legal issues and assure the rights and interests of the Foundation.
Supervise Legal Counsels/Paralegal and guide Trainees, Legal Counsels and other legal personnel to ensure effective support for the Legal Department.
Create, supervise and implement the Legal Process in the assigned area of functions.
Manage drafting and filing legal issues including but not limited to the coordination with outsource legal counsels.
Coordinate summary presentations and documentation preparation regarding Legal functions for management reviews and collaborator presentations.
Manage area budget, track actual costs against the budget, and make appropriate interventions.
Monitor and activate Best Management Practices in managing outside counsel.
Maintain a team environment with other departments.
Champion QF in the community.
Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere.
Other duties as assigned.
