The Property Division manages all aspects of Alshaya's 2,500 store retail property portfolio for our 70+ brands across 19 countries. The property division is split into 3 areas, Real Estate, Project Management and Facilities Management (FM). The Division holds regular reviews on store performance and drives real estate portfolio maximisations to ensure it meets the company's and brands' expectations in regard to quality and profitability. With 100s of new stores and re-fits each year, the work is fast-paced and dynamic. The team structure is split by region, ensuring your exposure across a number of international blue chip brands.
The Role:
You will be accountable for the new store opening plan, site selection and budgets. By liaising with designers, landlords and host brands you will ensure brand standards and requirements are met. Working within a specific region across all brands and divisions you will manage a varied and diverse client portfolio.
In addition to new store openings you will discuss with internal stakeholders the renewals, relocation or closure of existing properties. By managing and constantly developing your team you will be able to meet the future business requirements and growth of one of the Middle East's largest retail franchise businesses.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree educated, ideally within a property, construction or business field- Extensive experience in property management and negotiations specific to retail- Recognised professional property qualification (Chartered status)- Excellent networking and relationship building skills- Legal training desirable.
