Traffic Management / Road Safety Engineer - EGIS

Reporting to the Senior Road Safety Audit Engineer. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Supervision, reviewing and approving contractor submittals

• Resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with contract requirements

• Liaising with the inspectors to ensure that uniform high standards are maintained across all the works

• Reporting to the Resident Engineer ensuring that works are carried out in a safe manner

• Ensuring that the Contractor’s traffic officers are carrying out their routine inspection of the traffic diversions as prescribed in the contract document

• Reviewing the contractor’s Traffic Management plans and method statements and ensuring compliance

• Reviewing the proposed diversion route such as temporary road layout, signing, temporary/permanent safety barriers, lighting on carriageway

• Work closely within the team from day to day activities and providing support to the Resident Engineer
