Description
A Warehouse Manager would be expected to:
- Plan, manage and control overall warehouse operations.- Continuously plan the allocation of warehouse resouces depending on company objectives and targets.- Audit and review productivity targets and KPIs periodically.- Review and valdiate inventory reportsinventory adjustments, etc with the Logistics Manager.- Manage inbound and outbound operations and maintain stock control, ensuring on-time dispatch and delivery.- Apply cost reduction and efficiency improvement techniques and lead initiatives for the same.- Apply ISO and other quality standards and ensure that QHSE standards are met and improved.- Maintain the warehouse area and oversee staff (over time and leave, etc).
Profile
The ideal candidate would have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a reputed university- 8+ years of experience in warehousing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role- Experience with retail is a must- Very strong interpersonal skills, to collaborate with decision-makers in the organisation- In-depth understanding of warehousing with experience in setup from scratch- Strong process orientation - understanding of continuous improvement- Familiarity with QHSE standards- Based in the UAE
Job Offer
This position offers AED 21,000 per month + medical insurance + annual flights + education allowance, tax-free
