Manage legal business matters pertaining to the organization according to detailed internal policy and regulation of the Company in Qatar. Provide a variety of general corporate and commercial legal management services internally to the Company.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide legal advice for all the different departments within the Company;
To review and/or draft the contract templates for the company, i.e. sales agreements, purchase agreements, distribution agreements, MOU, NDAs, etc.;
To take part in transaction/agreement negotiation;
To procure the Legal Compliance respecting the local laws of Qatar, and which includes but without limitation to, corporate management, labor, and taxation;
To deal with and/or to manage external lawyers to deal with law suit or settlement negotiations involving the company;
To conduct legal research or to manage external lawyers to conduct legal research in various areas of law;
To conduct various legal training, or to arrange external lawyers to conduct legal training for executives, managers and employees, some of which are mandatory;
Other legal issues may be assigned by legal director.
