Job Description:
The Salesperson is responsible for attaining sales goals. The Salesperson is to be the conduit relating to all aspects of the project.
The Salesperson answers to the Sales Manager. The following is a general outline of tasks and responsibilities:
Responsibilities
• Lead generation and sales from:
o New Construction
o Remodeled / Existing Buildings
o Referrals
• Demonstrate and sell all company systems including, but not limited to, the following
o Audio / Video equipment
o Control systems and components
o Lighting Controls
o Home Cinema
o Security
o Networking
o Phone / Intercom systems
• Prepare proposals, document sales sequence from the beginning of contract to completion of project
• Monitor project status
• Problem solving and customer relations
Ongoing Education
• Remain at the forefront of our industry through a variety of means including, but not limited to the following:
o Periodicals and Magazines
o Association gatherings and Trade Shows
o Seminars and Classes (relating to the industry and information that benefits the company in a conceptual way or practical application)
o Online Training
• Commit to staying current with industry trends, new technologies, and new products
• Maintain a market awareness of Competition and new areas for development
