Workshop Manager

- Plan and manage the workshops in an efficient, productive, safe and cost effective manner.

- Enhance 'in-house shop capabilities' to meet Business requirements and reduce maintenance costs and turnaround time.

- Ensure compliance to all legal requirements and enforcement of highest qualitative and quantitative operational and service standard’s.

- Responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the workshop.

- Accountable for the on time maintenance, servicing of all equipment as per agreed performance standards.

- The manager is responsible for the purchase of materials & equipment to ensure smooth progression of projects in the workshop.

- Traceability is a vital component both at material and component level; responsible for maintaining a database of all activities.

- Accountable for the quality of work carried out and performs / delegates incoming and outgoing inspection on all parts and equipment.

- Develop a framework and business processes to assess asset position, asset condition and ensure asset disposal are aligned with the Company strategy.

- Ensure visibility and availability of company assets at all times.

- Maintaining awareness levels of all employees regarding Health & Safety and Security.

- Ensures all accidents and injuries are reported and investigated promptly and correctly and that any follow up actions are implemented in a timely way, in line with Company policy.

- Identify &address problems and opportunities; brings those which are appropriate to the Management.
