A small holding group of service companies is seeking a Financial Controller to further develop the accounting processes of the underlying firms and drive better business planning and analysis in order to support the CEOs and Chairman with stronger financial information for decision making and generally stronger financial management.
There is a lively, fun and entrepreneurial culture in two group companies which operate in real estate consultancy services and a digital marketing agency totaling 45 headcount and around AED 15m turnover. The ledger volumes are not significant, the costs are relatively straightforward, but there are accounting challenges in revenue recognition, financial controls, cashflow management and balance sheet structures and the standard and detail of the management accounting offers a level of detail and insight not common in firms of a similar scale.
We are seeking a new Financial Controller to consolidate accounting practices across the two firms that require a high standard of year end financial reporting, financial control development and balance sheet management, along with detailed monthly and quarterly management information packs. The individual with the support of juniors will manage all aspects of the accounting process from payroll to detailed financial planning and they need to have a broad technical and commercial skillset.
