CH2M HILL BRT and Community Bus Programme Delivery Manager - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose:
The Arriyadh Development Authority Public Transit Program (PTP) is a historic commitment by the leadership of Saudi Arabia to address the transportation needs of the city of Riyadh and this critical region. As Saudi Arabia’s largest metropolis grows to 8.3 million by 2030, this program and related infrastructure will be enablers to the future economic development of the region and the related job creation critical to the people in the region.
The Saudi Arabian Government is constructing the world’s largest transit program in Riyadh to address this growth. This program includes 181 km of METRO light rail—surface level, elevated and underground (tunnels); 94 km of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) supplemented by circular routes and feeder buses; Transit Oriented Development; regulatory and fiscal changes to reduce traffic congestion; and regulatory measures governing the PTP itself.
CH2M HILL is the currently completing design for the BRT system to be constructed in this program, affected traffic signals, and community bus infrastructure. This position will provide program management of all three projects.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
This position is focused on the leadership and management of projects and programs for CH2M HILL's clients. These projects and programs are aligned to the strategic markets and underlying business objectives of the firm. The incumbent is responsible for delivery of multiple projects comprising the bus infrastructure program. Technical, Financial, Strategic, Team and Client/External Stakeholder Levels of Complexity are typically all above average, with some aspects of very high complexity evident. This role has a demonstrated understanding and application of the knowledge and skill (competencies) required of a program manager; mastery of individual competencies evident in selected areas; a demonstrated understanding and application of the project delivery (PD) process; and is familiar with some of the technologies and delivery methods underpinning the project solution to be delivered. The incumbent provides motivation and direction to the project teams, typically through multiple project, task, and/or functional managers. Decisions have a significant impact on the resource requirements, scope/schedule/sequence of project activities, client and/or team satisfaction, risk profile, quality, health/safety/environment, and financial performance of one or more projects, with commensurate impact observed at the BG level.
