Overall Job Responsibilities:
Provide geologic support to the D18 development activities. The fully qualified geologist is envisioned to work together on the D18 development activities and interaction with the engineering and facilities teams.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provide geologic assistance and advise the subsurface team.
· Knowledge of geologic principles and techniques.
· Specialized expertise in field development geology; past experience is a plus.
· Ability to interpret various log data; generate geologic cross section, etc.
· Integration of geologic data into subsurface static and dynamic models;
· Knowledge of static models; work with geomodeler to make adjustments to static model.
· Assist in well trajectory predictions; analyze testing results; analyze pressure data; analyze fluid movement and estimate contacts;
· Determine key geologic data to gather at various well locations;
· Assist in the analysis and prioritization of BCO and RMVAC opportunities.
· Broad geologic knowledge for inter-disciplinary integration.
Education/Experience/Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Geoscience or equivalent with minimum 10years relevant work experience or Master's Degree with minimum 8 years relevant work experience or PhD with minimum 6 years relevant work experience.

· Advanced understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, petroleum geology, introductory geophysics, geophysical mapping, and interpretation and subsurface mapping techniques.
· Good project management skills.
· Good organizing, planning, and presentation skills.
· Sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work.
· Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Others
Drilling:
Assist and advise drilling operations of relevant geologic issues; data gathering points; etc.
Operations:
Provide geologic support to all data acquisition, drilling operations and facilities, as needed.
Candidates should be experienced and able to work without supervision; field development experience is a plus; culturally sensitive; able to work within a multi-disciplinary team;
