Our client, a growing Healthcare Provider is currently recruiting for a General Manager. Working with the Asset Manager and Board of Directors on the full scope of operational activities to assure the highest level of quality and service. The General Manager (GM) will be involved in the management of all staff/the administration/ sales and business development activities/ clinical, operational and financial performance and reporting/procurement/ human resources/marketing/IT/logistics/customer service of . GM also will liaise closely with the Medical Advisor and other medical personnel with regards to clinical matters.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Develop, direct and implement strategic growth plans for the Center (feasibility financial modelling, business plans, Investment Committee presentations, etc).
2. Plan, direct and administer the organisation's activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial performance, quality, and legislative adherence.
3. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of annual budgets incorporating cash flow requirements, capital expenditure, business development and forecasted company growth.
4. Identify business development opportunities, actively participate in sales activities, and prepare feasibility studies for their successful implementation if required.
5. Liaise and update the Medical Director, Asset Manager and the Board on all relevant matters.
6. Participate in the interview and hiring process for the new team joiners. Plan and seek approval for the required organizational changes for optimum performance and fill the open positions with qualified candidates in a timely manner. Create succession plans for own and other key positions.
7. Manage cash-flow, all assets and liabilities in an efficient and effective manner.
8. Implement and ensure adherence to delegation of authority.
9. Ensure the highest standard of delivery of service.
10. Liaise closely with the Medical Director for the recruitment of medical staff, and all scientific matters.
11. Manage and direct functions and performance of the Staff, together with the Medical Director.
12. Develop Key Performance Indicators for all direct reports.
13. Manage measure and report on operational issues, opportunities, development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
14. Manage outsourced elements of operations such as security, cleaning, hard facilities management, IT services, catering and laundry.
15. Participate in the promotion of occupational health and safety management within the organisation.
16. Be proactive in identifying any problems and need and provide recommendations for resolution.
17. Maintain and develop organisational culture, values and reputation in, and with all staff, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
18. Develop mitigation plans to minimize gaps in budgets, when needed.
19. Other duties that may arise during the course of holding this position.
