To be responsible for the in-house printing, collating and binding of reports, documents, forms and tickets, specimen signature booklets, etc., ensuring high quality reproduction and binding at all times, together with prompt delivery within the scheduled deadlines.
To operate efficiently the printing machines and any associated ancillary equipment for production, testing and other types of work:-
a.Die-Cutting Machine
b.Collating Machine
c.Numbering Machine
d.All type of Binding Machines
To become familiar with other equipment operating in the Printing Room.
To perform all kinds of printing jobs on plain paper, card, or NCR Paper.
To assist in the design of existing and new forms when required.
To ensure processing all Business Units printing requests well on time without incurring any un-necessary delays.
To repair small faults on the printing machine and other equipment within the allowable parameters of the respective maintenance agreements.
To report immediately to his Line Manager all processing or equipment problems and any matter that requires his attention.
To maintain a log of all machine jobs processed and forward log to his Line Manager at end of each working day.
To ensure that all printing equipments are functioning properly.
To ensure that the Printing Room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
To ensure that all necessary stationery items i.e. paper, ink etc. are in stock, and that the stock items are securely held.
To ensure that the assistant Printer is fully employed and properly trained in every aspect of the printing process and is able to provide adequate back-up when necessary.
To exercise overall control of the Printing Room and restrict entry except to authorized personnel.
