Fuel Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:



Fuel Technician able to troubleshoot and repair fuel piping, pumps and valves at Fuel Distribution and Storage points.



MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:



1. Conduct daily Preventative Maintenance on piping, valves and pumps at Fuel Distribution and Storage points.

2. Repair and replace defective parts, identify and repair leaking gaskets as part of the Corrective Maintenance program.

3. Maintain and update work order documents and maintain work order status.

4. Perform fuel issuing and receiving tasks as needed.

5. Performs other duties and assignments as required.



MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

Must be capable of operating a personal computer equipped with Microsoft software. Be able to produce “Word” documents and “Excel” spreadsheets.



WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position the the candidate must be able to lift/push/pull 35-45 lbs. Able to work and be exposed to high environmental temperatures, dust, sand and high noise.
