HR Officer- Sudan- for Arab Country Nationals Only

POSITION SUMMARY:



• An HR Officer will be accountable to support the HR Manager in a range of HR Services to all employees all throughout the Organization from joining to expiry of contract and assisting all matters pertaining to Employee Services.



• Responsible for the HRIS entries of staff salaries, re-designations, leaves, separations, etc., regularly uploaded and updated in the database systems.



• Oversees and take part in investigation, disciplinary actions, employee grievances, for all staff under the Organization.



• Establish and maintain confidential filling system which involves salaries (Employee & Management), salary adjustments/increments, etc.,



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES & MAJOR ACTIVITIES:



• HR Policy Development & Documentation; Develop and maintain employee policies and practices which support high standards and professionalism, and which are aligned both with local employment legislation and with the values of the corporation;



• Reviewing on current employment legislation, policies and procedures to ensure HR Policies, Procedures & Standards are applied consistently and equitably;



• Provide & Assist the HR Manager for related compensation issues;



• Assist in providing effective and efficient HR Administration Services;



• Liaise with relevant Local Government Organizations and other bodies as necessary to ensure HR procedures and practices comply with all local regulations;



• Assists the Management involving major change initiatives in the business from an HR Perspective, ensuring that change is implemented effectively and efficiently;





• Maintain a positive employee relations environment by proactively working with management on potential staff issues,



• In charge of preparing salary and benefits requests such as salary certificate, employment/experience certificate, leave balance/entitlements, increment letters, etc.;



• Prepares staffing and turn-over reports, monitors/tracks employee movements, promotions, transfers, etc.;



• Demonstrate understanding of Employments Contracts and amendments to contracts;



• Initiate & Conduct Employee Surveys to ascertain the morale levels of the whole group;



• Ensures integrity of data elements used for reporting and analysis;



• Administers all Employee Benefits (medical insurance plan, travel tickets, vacation accruals, leave application and approvals, end-of-service gratuity, vacation pay-outs) and ensure that there is appropriate documentation to support any processing of benefits for employees and dependents;



• Monitor the probationary review process to ensure that the reviews are completed before the expiry of the probationary period. Refer any performance review issues to the Manager.



• Ensure proactive, constant and friendly engagement with staff of all levels through regular staff interaction and communication activities;



• Manage monthly HR reporting including headcount



• Exit Management - Gratuity Calculation, exit interview, employee clearance;



• Responsible for maintaining manual and electronic and hard copy filing system.
