Works closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;
• Promotes equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization;
• Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety;
• Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;
• Develops and implements policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
• Very familiar with and knowledgeable about Saudi Labor Law;
• Remains up-to-date with Saudi Labor Law Procedural and Process changes as they occur;
• Prepares staff handbooks;
• Advises on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
• Undertakes regular salary reviews;
• Negotiates with staff and their representatives on issues relating to pay and conditions;
• Administers payroll and maintains employee records;
• Interprets and advises on employment law;
• Deals with grievances and implements disciplinary procedures;
• Develops with line managers HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;
• Plans, and sometimes delivers training, including inductions for new staff;
• Analyses training needs in conjunction with departmental managers;
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
