Job summary:



To work with the relevant section on food preparation according to set standards, customer satisfaction and high level of sales in line with company policies and regulations.



Major responsibilities and accountabilities:



Business

• Implementation of day to day activities in assigned section for preparation of food items to outlets and functions to improve productivity and quality.

• Assist Chef De partie of the section.

Financial

• To ensure achievement of financial objectives of the Section.

• Ensures implementation of cost control and cost reduction measures on continuous basis.

• To achieve maximum utilization of material, equipment and staff for quality of food.



Customer

• Maintain professional relationship with guests to ensure a prompt and good standard of service.

• Receives suggestions and cascade the same to line supervisors.



People

• To maintain good morale, team work and communication within the team.

• Train and assist the team to ensure maximization of productivity.



Accountabilities

• Follow & implement the DWTC Policies & Procedures

• Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinates

• Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security and Health & Safety and Dubai Municipality requirements

• Implement any other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef/Chef De Partie



As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions are held with the post holder in the yearly performance evaluations.
