Job description
The PPC manager is responsible for tasks such as keyword research, ad grouping, writing ad copy, making recommendations on landing pages, and monitoring and maintaining PPC campaigns. The PPC Manager will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting on all PPC accounts each month.
Objectives and Missions
• You will be taking ownership of the Pay Per Click (PPC), testing new campaigns, analysing the results and implementing changes to maximise return on investment.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the PPC budgets are optimised, and seek efficiencies.
• You will be in charge of Campaign maintenance and monitoring
• You will produce ad-hoc reporting from the analytics package for deep-dive queries and hypothesis creation.
• You will produce and interpret weekly reporting translating the nuances of the paid search discipline into meaningful insight for the wider business.
• You will constantly optimise the accounts by implementing on-site and off-site testing and development cycles.
• You will also be working closely with all other digital operations within the business to ensure that all campaigns are fully integrated and are running to the best of their potential.
• You will work closely with other international teams to report and share best practices globally
• You will be responsible for the keyword research, ensuring ad copy is relevant and accurate; Improve quality score and conversion rates via landing page optimization.
• You will start to develop and implement an SEO Strategy.
Experience and Qualification:
• 3+ years Pay Per Click (PPC) experience
• Proven record of running profitable global Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns
• Track record of analyzing PPC issues and opportunities, and providing and implementing recommendations to improve campaigns
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent command of web analytics solutions (such as Omniture or Google Analytics) and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Google Adwords and bid-management tools (Kenshoo will be a plus)
• Experience in the financial industry would be a plus
Please note essential experience required for the role includes;
- Google Adwords Qualification
- Microsoft adCenter accreditation
- Google Analytics Qualification
You will be required to provide examples of previous successful PPC campaigns you have managed and demonstrate your ability to present your knowledge in this field.
