About Your Job:



The Manager Public Relations will play a vital role in growing the relationship between Qatar Airways and the communities in which the company operates.



In this position, you will effectively manage media relations and activities on behalf of the company with the support of the Corporate Communications team. The role involves all facets of public relations for the company especially protection and promotion of the brand, executive communications and integrated planning with other departments within the company.



This is a highly demanding position which involves incorporating the corporate communications strategy into all activities, and ensuring that the activity is aligned within the framework of the company's business strategy.



About You:



The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience as a professional corporate communicator or Public Relations professional. You must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations or Journalism with superior English communication skills and have airline experience.



It is essential that you are able to work effectively under pressure in a highly charged working environment, and that you show exceptional organisational and time management skills. The ability to travel on occasions will be required as well.
