JOB PURPOSE
To develop and implement the total business growth strategy covering Marketing and Sales while fully integrated with Supply Chain (local and networked) capability for both B2B and B2C for the long, medium and short term. To develop the overall talent pool in JOSLOC with specific focus on Marketing Skills and Sales Capability Development. To continuously ensure that the strategy delivers on customer acquisition for profitable growth while remaining aligned to long term goal of establishing leading position for JOSLOC in chosen focus sectors.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy
• Participates in the formulation and implementation of the Marketing & Sales strategy to ensure the alignment with SHELL’s strategy.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
• Participates and recommends improvements to Marketing and Customer Strategy for both B2B & B2C policies, processes and procedures and manages their implementation in own division to ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled
Day-to-day management
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Marketing function’s team providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
• Liaises with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interactions
Job Specific or Duties
• Develop the Marketing Strategy, Objectives and specific execution plans by brand and sector to achieve the financial and market share goals of JOSLOC.
• Prepare the activity calendar that will execute the marketing plan
• Ensure resources (suppliers, creative agencies and people) are identified and managed to deliver the plan on time and in full
• Manage a Marketing Budget of SR 30 million with complete transparency and clear KPIs
• Manage promotional relationships with Fuel Marketing Companies like Aldrees, NAFT & Taseelaat
• Conduct technical seminars and sponsorships for B2B team
• Manage the end to end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to ensure that new Shell products are introduced as per the portfolio required to service the needs of Saudi Lubricants Market
• Solicit Shell Global Support for key brands and sectors
• Direct involvement with Sales team in winning business of Shell Global Key Accounts and FWS
• Design and implement Marketing Research to evaluate performance and generate insights for future business planning
• Develop and implement OCS development plans to ensure that Shell brands take leadership position in the largest volume channel of Saudi
• Support Fast Lubes development project
• Develop the future leaders of JOSLOC through mentoring, coaching and developing new talent at an accelerated pace.
• Co-joined business growth plan with Sakes Team on focus, brands, sectors and channels
• Annual Marketing activity calendars with implementation reviews
• Agency Contracts for Creative and Media Contracts
• Annual plans translated into financial limits and defined KPIs for each campaign
• Event executions with measured impact on pipeline fill for B2B business
• Portfolio reviews and number of new Products introduced in time to meet customer demand
• Clearly identified and engaged Shell stake holders for initiatives in focus sectors - Helix, Power Sector and Construction OEMs
• To leverage Shell GKA & OEM relationships and drive the Account Managers to enable business wins
• Multi-level OCS branding and promotional plan to grow Shell Helix.
• Branding support as per Shell guidelines to Fast Lubes project (Future: Set up and drive Fast Lubes team to deliver the network o9f 500 outlets by 20018)
• Demonstrated top quartile performance for at least 2 members of the marketing team
Reporting
• Reviews all division reports for accuracy and in order to ensure that they conform with Company and department requirements, policies and standards
