B2B OB Sales Support - JOSLOC

2. JOB PURPOSE





To interact with various internal departments (particularly Sales) and will contribute to business growth by providing office-based support to the sales force



. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES



Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day operations

• Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the B2B Lubricants to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

Job Specific

• Accountable for ensuring that the Customer Set-up & Amend process is executed in a timely manner and delivers the desired outcomes. This covers the whole customer life cycle from initial contact through to the customer data and offer being translated into proper master / reference data in our systems, . customer is ready-to-trade with Shell.

• Trigger and monitor completion of customer set up activities.

• Resolve any delays in customer set up and amend cycle time and escalate recurring issues for resolution.

• Ensure effective customer document management including physical and electronic filing and retrieval.

• Responsible for the capture of Customer information, data and documentation required to set up or amend a customer and accountable for ensuring accuracy of the customer master data.

• Ensure customer data integrity across systems throughout the customer life cycle.

• Coordinate customer specific Tax with Master Data

• Gatekeeper for ensuring a customer offer is compliant with the offer book, challenging non-compliant offers, and complicated pickup arrangements.

• Be gatekeeper, ensuring all information provided to set-up a new customer is complete and right first time, and supported by the required evidence of approval per MoA including all supporting documents required to provide an audit trail.

• Capture information during setup and amend and support Sales in developing a business case for all restricted offers and submit business cases for approval.

• Confirm customer eligibility for Restricted Offers with Sales

• Be responsible for ensuring compliance with MoA.

• Responsible for all data set-ups and amends in SAP.

• Related duties assigned by management.

Special Challenges

• Requires a high degree of local business-specific knowledge including market, customers and the local offer book.

• Has in depth knowledge of STBC policies and processes relevant to the COB:

• Standard Offer Book (Pricing & Payment, Delivery Promise, Customer Promise etc.)

• Customer Set-up and Amend process and tools

• Contract Management process and policy

• Has local knowledge of OTC Service Providers.

• Customer and Sales intimacy

• Able to identify the requirements particular to a deal being proposed or agreed by Sales with a customer.

• Possess a strong customer service ethic and ability to understand, meet and champion the customers’ needs, whilst staying within the policies and procedures of Shell.

• Extremely accurate, paying attention to detail.

• Strong team orientation actively contributes to team goals and seeks cohesiveness.

• Demonstrated relationship building skills, across several levels, including customers and service providers within the business.

• Recognize and implement changes in line with business principles and priorities.

• Work with team to ensure all customers receive world class service

• Ability to organize tasks in order of priority whilst adhering to deadlines and remaining calm in a stressful environment.
