Our client, a prestigious name in the Iron & Steel Industry is looking for a Senior Commercial/Marketing Manager to join their expanding team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate, who works closely with the General Manager of Operations, has to keep abreast of developments in the global Iron & Steel Industry with special reference to Iron Ore Pellet markets and recommend marketing and business development initiatives in order to respond to market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Help develop the annual Sales Budget and upon approval, implement the same through appropriate marketing strategies.
• Ensure registration of suppliers, ship owners and brokers is done as per approved procedures and monitor performance of existing vendors on a regular basis.
• Contribute in the preparation of all tenders for new business and coordinate with other departments in finalizing price, technical and commercial terms and conditions.
• Help develop the annual procurement plan of all raw materials required by the plant, like various grades of iron ores, bentonite, petroleum coke, limestone etc. based on the Annual Sales Budget.
