Head, Marketing - Qatar Foundation

Job Purpose:

Develop and oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy in coordination with other divisions and subsidiaries in order to drive profitable growth, enhance ASCQ market position, as well as to maintain positive relations and a positive image with ASCQHC’s key stakeholders.



KEY RESULT AREAS

 Develop and coordinate the implementation of ASCQHC’s annual marketing plan in coordination with international marketing consutant(s).

 Manage the contract, relationship and resources provided by the international marketing/communications and PR services provider.

 Manage the development, distribution, design, and deployment of graphics material for all collateral (printed, digital, rollup, etc.), including ASQHC and subsidiary websites as contracted.

 Identify, plan and manage ASCQ HC participation in all PR events (presentations, road shows, trade shows, air shows, etc. as appropriate).

 Ensure division’s policies and procedures are well implemented, adhered to and standardized across the divisions and subsidiaries as appropriate.

 Ensure annual plans are in line with ASCQ HC’s strategic goals, objectives, and targets by coordinating with others within the Commercial Directorate and top management.

 Monitor the marketing and PR operations in a way that guarantees and achieves the desired targets.

 Develop strategies to build ASCQ HC’s business brand.

 Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the marketing and public relations division’s units in coordination with the Corporate Planning Director and ensure they are met.

 Recommend policies and procedures related to marketing, and recommend updates as needed.

 Build the holding’s profile through marketing initiatives to ensure competitiveness, profitability and to achieve the required market share.

 Keep abreast with market trends and monitor competitors’ activities around the diverse aviation and aerospace, retail and entertainment, and training and education markets in which ASCQ participates.

 Drive competitive advantage and market share gain.

 Build and develop a high performance marketing, and PR team to drive business growth and profitability.

 Drive innovative marketing and public relations design that enable ASCQ HC to achieve a market

 Perform other duties as assigned.
