Human Resources Manager - Al Alee Group WLL

The individual needs to work closely with each of the discipline managers and Project Managers to ensure that a professional approach is taken in terms of Human Resource.

The role should significantly contribute to the continual improvement that will be required to increase competitiveness and professionalism within the company.

Communication & Co-ordination:

Lead the regular HR Coordination Meetings with HR Team

Deliver quality written reports and / or presentations to various audiences as required

Maintain effective communication channels with Projects, Divisions etc.

Good Knowledge and understanding of local compliance issues

Manage inspections by local government authorities and follow through on corrective actions

Ensure that local compliance standards are being achieved

Develop & Maintain Standard Employment Contracts

Detailed knowledge of requirements for mobilising (onboarding) expatriates

Develop and maintain key relationships with relevant government departments

Manage the Employee Relations Programme

Develop Local Employee Relations Procedures

Provide Employee Relations Guidance locally

Major Role / Contributor to the Negotiations and Conclusion of Collective Agreements as applicable

Manage & Monitor Disciplinary and Grievance Issues

Ability to access / network / resource HR management tools

Knowledge / awareness of best HR Practices & Principles

Be the Manpower Planning resource for the region

Develop standard and ad hoc reports for the Region from the HRIS

Provide the source for effective review planning - probation, salary, appraisal, expiry dates etc.

Provide HRIS Training Locally to all users

Ensure HRIS usage is maximised in the region and ensure on data quality

Promote the development of the HRIS in the region

Set Goals and Objectives for Local HR Team

Set standards for local HR competence and Recruit and Develop HR Resources accordingly

Implement HR Procedures across the Region

Ability to develop local policies and procedures

High Skill Level / Trained Interviewer

Evaluate Staff Requests for Approval

Negotiating Terms and Conditions

Make Hiring Recommendations

Write / Develop Job Descriptions

Manage the Recruitment Programme for the Region

Manage and coordinate large scale mobilization projects

Training

Develop and Implement Induction Programmes

Take responsibility for setting standards and auditing Camps and Employee Accommodation
