As an Internal Communications Executive you will be part of Alshaya's expanding Corporate Communications team and be accountable for the professional creation and delivery of communications content and activities which build employees' understanding of Alshaya initiatives.
You will:
- Support Alshaya's communications cascade process (announcements, internal events, internal new stories, etc)- Support development of new channels (i.e. intranet development, social media, etc)- Support the development of internal communications programmes for key initiatives- Support the development of best practice, policies and standards to maintain consistency across all communications- Create and maintain direct internal relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with excellent written English skills as well as previous experience in a communications role.
You will have/be:
- A university level education with a Degree in communications or related subject preferable- At least 3 years' communications experience (international experience an advantage)- Experience of the successful application of core internal communications disciplines (eg announcement/story drafting, intranet content development, event management, etc.)- Experience of implementing internal communications campaigns - preferably within a retail or FMCG environment- Excellent factual and creative writing and editing in English (Arabic an advantage)- Strong organisational, planning and project management skills- Strong interpersonal skills - a collaborative work style, fostering co-operation and teamwork and comfortable working with colleagues from every level of the organisation.
