Consultant Plastic Surgeon - Future Career Generator

On behalf of our client a leading Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia we have an opening for a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.



Working under the professional supervision of the Chief of the Surgical Department. You will be responsible for Surgery Residents.



You will provide specialised services for the diagnosis and management of surgical problems pertinent to plastic surgery. As a member of the Surgical Department your responsibility is divided between the Outpatient Clinic, the In-patient Services for both consultation and primary admission, and the Plastic-surgical operations. Perform the professional duties of a Plastic Surgeon in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended by the Chief of Surgical Department and approval by the Credentialing and Privileging Committee.



• Performs duties of the Plastic Surgery Outpatient clinic evaluating patients with plastic surgical diseases. (average 6 days/ week)

• Provides consultation service to Inpatients in your area of expertise (Plastic Surgery).

• Provides primary care to Inpatients admitted directly to the Plastic Surgery service.

• Provides on-call emergency coverage for Plastic Surgical emergencies (30 days/month).

• Provides comprehensive and diligent plastic surgical care to all assigned patients, including pre and post-operative care and such plastic surgical procedures as are within incumbent’s competence.

• Assumes after hours responsibility for the care of assigned plastic surgical cases and makes daily rounds for those hospitalized.

• Adheres to the By Laws and Rules and Regulations of the medical department and assumes that work performed is in keeping with the established standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation hospitals.

• Maintains complete and accurate records of all assigned cases. Participate in the monthly Staff Meeting of the Surgical Department and educational conferences.

• Develops and maintain professional quality standards, make recommendations for improvement of such standards, contributes, and participates in the hospital wide quality improvement program.

• Participates and contribute to the educational activities in the department . daily morning conferences, weekly grand round, clinical meeting, etc.
