The Role
To manage procurement and administrative duties related to capital equipment.
The Procurement Manager will have the responsibility for all procurement activities in the Projects that includes:
to ensure equipment and materials are supplied to schedule, quality and budget.
Plan and manage the central procurement activities.
Selection of suppliers and contractors
Contract administration of Service & Supply, Purchasing procedure.
Project purchases & change orders, Purchase order logs for projects.
Payment issues with suppliers / subcontractors.
Database for key suppliers and subcontractors.
Verify documents required by auditors.
Liaising with Stores.
Liaise with the Engineering to prepare the procurement schedule, co-ordinate with projects, order material according to specifications, standards, drawings and scope of work
