The Senior Geodetic Engineer provides the company with the surveying information and mapping services required to conduct Geodetic, Topographic, Hydrographic and remote sensing surveys.
His primary task is to set guidelines for Geodetic Engineers, surveyors, Geomatics Engineers to fulfill this objective he prepares guidance in the setting a geodetic control in remote areas and prepares topographic and seismic survey maps for geophysical operations, he also defines the final coordinates for wells to be drilled.
Prepares, establishes and verifies technical specifications of survey Works for both onshore and offshore areas.
Coordinates and participates in gathering information from field and seismic operations by GPS and RTK for use in the Geodetic GIS system.
Monitors contractor's surveying: work and navigation positioning with respect to quality, timing and verification of the final reports prior to invoices processing.
Conducts field QC/QA visits.
