Business Development Manager - ORYX Gas To Liquids Ltd

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the Business Development section effectively to ensure development of the annual

business operational plans and strategic business plans; develop necessary plans to obtain strategic

growth and conduct economic modelling and business cases in line with the company strategy and

objectives.



ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Functional Strategy

• Assist the CPO in developing the functional strategies and plans in line with the

business needs and overall organizational strategy and objectives.

• Develop the departmental strategies and plans in line with the functional

strategies and ensure implementation and execution of the same.



Departmental Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Business Development unit, providing

expertise, encouraging and ensuring teamwork, aligning work processes in order

to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets, objectives and

employee engagement in a motivated work environment, and liaising with

internal and external parties, as necessary, to facilitate the flow of business.

Exercises financial authority within established limits and controls departmental

budget expenditure



Departmental Policies and Procedures

• Assist the CPO in developing the functional policies and procedures and

ensure alignment of the same with the organizational corporate governance

framework.

• Review and provide necessary recommendations for improving the

departmental policies by the Heads to ensure smooth running of the department

maintaining a positive image of the company internally and externally.



Organization Structure

• Review and approve in conjunction with the CPO an optimum organisation

structure for the Business development section so that resources are optimally

utilised and communication can take place in an efficient manner meeting the

needs of the internal and external customers.
