The Strategy Consultant would work hand in hand with the Chief Strategy Officer to deliver a strategic way forward for the group and will be one of the foundation stones in the development of the conglomerates next chapter. Aligning the various businesses under one over-arching vision will deliver a competitive advantage for the organisation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). The Strategy Consultant will assist the CSO in overseeing the overall strategy for the organization and its subsidiaries within the Middle East.
The strategy consultant will play a vital role in strategizing and developing a fresh perspective on both operational and communication level for the organisation . Hence would require the incumbent to have an excellent communication and business skills with an astute knowledge of the Middle East Region.
The “Strategy Consultant” must have the ability to demonstrate and often work on specific projects to tight deadlines, hence having handled and managed complex projects is a prerequisite. The strategy consultant must also have the confidence and flair to consult and discuss technical projects with departmental heads aswell as receiving their input. In addition they must be able to demonstrate and clarify strategic and operational problems from both a macro and micro level and identify problems and solutions. They must be able to undertake research of industry specific, market sectors its competitors, collate, analyse and interpret data and statistic’s.
The “Strategy Consultant” must be able to discuss pros and cons of possible strategies and work closely with the CSO to develop and advise about implementing agreed solutions, for the organisation as a whole. Working knowledge of restructuring, improving profitability, share value, efficiency, competitive advantage and efficiency is a distinct advantage in successfully executing the role of the Strategy Consultant
