Chief Operations Officer

A reputable Billion pounds FMCG company with More than 10,000 employees is seeking to hire:Chief Operations Officer



Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer



Managing: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality



Responsibilities:



Support Executive Team in the development of the Business Strategy

• Formulate a manufacturing / product sourcing strategy

• Area competitive analysis on infrastructure, capacity, capabilities, organization

• Lead the Infrastructure Planning Process



Active Involvement in the Development of an Executable Annual Operating Plan

• Highlight capacity issues and provide product sourcing options

• Provide input on new initiatives (product, packages) readiness for launch in Area

• Identify new technologies to improve our cost and competitiveness in the market weight reduction…)



Transfer and Build Operating Capability

• Owns the Operation Capability Roadmap

• Deploy operation resources to build, make and deliver operating capability.



Ensure that manufacturing operations meets the mandatory requirements to assure Product Integrity and Trademark protection

• Ensure regular audits of the operation are being done on time

• Ensure a course of action to correct deviation is implemented timely

• Ensure all primary packaging materials (anything that comes in contact with product) are purchased from approved supplier base



Strength and Leverage the Operations Team

• Staff, onboard, train and retain high caliber talent

• Clarify roles, set performance standard and goals and coach staff around the core work

• Role model Company values and create a motivating and rewarding work environment

• Work on own performance / development objectives

• Develop functional expertise on team
