The Role:
You will support government relations processes in Qatar including communication with government offices, ministries, the Chamber of Commerce, police departments etc. as required. You will support activities relating to immigration, passport authorities and foreign embassies to ensure the smooth movement of employees and visitors.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Supporting timely and cost effective processes to manage passport and visa activities ensuring documents are tracked and reports are available to monitor progress- Maintaining planning documentation to ensure that key milestones are achieved- Relationship building to expedite processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' government and civil authority liaison in appropriate market for commercial / business operations purposes- Public relations skills would be an advantage- A good level of high school education- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with authorities- A proactive and objective approach to problem solving.
