Teach Away is now hiring a Promotion and Marketing Section Manager within the Private Schools and Quality Assurance department, located within the head office of the Abu Dhabi public school system. We are looking for experienced professionals who are highly motivated, ambitious and looking for their next career move.
A 10-year government strategy has been initiated to boost student performance levels and achievement, and to modernize and enhance the Abu Dhabi educational system. With the goal of developing English proficiency, a bilingual system has been implemented from Kindergarten to Grade 7, with native-English speaking licensed educators teaching English, math, and science. The aim of the reform is to create a high quality, comprehensive system of education from early childhood to adult education, based on world class standards and expertise.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Managing implementation of marketing and promotion strategy, and actively championing the Abu Dhabi private education system to attract key operators to Abu Dhabi and into the Emirate
- Build alliances to promote and market Abu Dhabi education globally
- Oversee coordination with, and provide input in, selection of vendors involved in implementing marketing and promotional strategies
- Regularly track implementation against project plans and key milestones, and regularly report progress to the Division Director.
- All candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in a related role, with at least 3 years of experience at the managerial level.
- Leadership and strategic management experience in multiple education systems or curricula is an asset.
- Only Emirati nationals are eligible to apply for this position.
