Structural Engineer

Progressive Global Energy is seeking a Structural Engineer for U. K. to provide specialist structural engineering input into the front end and detailed engineering design of the FLNG Project. The LNG division is involved in benchmarking with major oil and gas companies and industry related engineering providers to attract international personnel



Key features:



You will be monitoring and ensuring quality, compliance and consistency of structural content of FEED project package and deliverable including accuracy of structural works cost and schedule estimates. In short, completion of engineering activities according to project plans.



You will be involved in:



- Resolution of technical issues.

- Review of FEED Contractor documentation.

- Providing Engineering input to Procurement issues as required.

- Preparing documents in DSPs

- Overall technical integrity of structural design, taking full account of safety and operational & maintenance requirements.

- Overall technical integrity of structural design, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

They operate in a large number of fields including contracting, nuclear power, energy, mining, chemicals and plastics, refining/extraction and distribution machinery.



Desired skills:



- 15+ years in Oil and Gas environment with an owner company, engineering Consultancy or a EPCM contractor.

- 10+ years in senior/ lead roles on FPSO projects

- Previous experience of FPSO and FLNG facility design will be preferred.

-Strong planning & control skills.

- Team player with excellent communication skills.
