Fleet/Transport Supervisor

Manage PUD, WH & Office Governance structure, control and optimisation processes





Manage the PUD, WH & Office Governance structure, control and optimisation processes (within the Service Centre) to ensure these expenditures are monitored and controlled in an optimal way. Activities of responsibility for PUD, WH & Office are:

· Day-to-day planning (Volumes, own/tem/subcontracted Resources and Distribution Model, Seasonality, etc.);

· Use of standard tools and methods to ensure daily/weekly/monthly reporting, measuring and control of resources, activity and cost;

· Day-to-day cost control, deviation analysis and activation of corrective actions;

· Ensure continuous improvement and share best practises implementation;

· Use optimisation programmes to achieve efficient activities and targeting standard unit cost.

Manage efficiently PUD, WH & Office Resources



Deliver and standardize the optimal PUD WH & Office Resources to ensure resources and cost are properly managed. Activities of responsibility are:

· Balance resources in line with fluctuations in volumes;

· Ensure high quality performance;

· Deploy, monitor and control the material resources required to execute the processes as Scanner, Forklifts, RPP devices, etc;

· Explore opportunities to improve service level in the most cost efficient way;

· Ensure staff is trained identifying training needs and deploying BU training programmes and people development strategies;

· Deploy communication and engagement programmes.



Manage PUD, WH & Office Processes



Execute the PUD, WH & Office processes efficiently (see involved DOTPC processes) and also responsible:

· For the realisation and monitoring of the correct deployment of the operational WH & Office processes;

· The correct data-entry into the systems (secure data integrity);

· To inform the previous and next part of the chain regarding failures;

· For the arrival and departure of LH vehicles and the correct loading procedures;

· Compliancy and 100% match of data, freight and paperwork;

· On-time and correct loading and unloading of vehicles with respect to the company policies (for instance damages and RPP) and legal compliancy (for instance Export Controls, Aviation Security, Health and Safety and DGs)

· Ensure that proper handling of the goods of our customers is supervised and embedded on the culture and behaviours of the Service Centre.
