Retail Operations Project Manager - KSA, Medina - M.H. Alshaya Co.

Central Operations is responsible, throughout all Middle East markets, for country profitability focusing on loss prevention, audit and customer service, at the same time driving consistent operational efficiency and best practice in all stores via the company standard operating procedures. Acting as a central point of store communication for the business, the team also protects the company's reputation, supports new brand openings and resolves any issues and problems on the ground.



The Role:



With your extensive retail experience you will be an integral part of the Central Operations Team which supports multi-brand retail operations in Saudi Arabia and ensures regional profitability. This role will be based in Medina.



You will:



* Visit stores and identify areas for improvement whilst ensuring retail best practice initiatives are in place



* Monitor trading hours and trading and promotional license compliance



* Assist with store openings and project manage new mall openings in conjunction with all Alshaya partners



* Focus on KPI compliance and action plans targeted at loss prevention, audit, customer service, and customer feedback scores



* Build strong relationships with mall management/marketing teams to ensure Alshaya maximizes every opportunity



* Visit the warehouse regularly and review supply chain activity to ensure stock flow into stores is managed efficiently



* Help chair weekly operations meetings and drive relevant agenda points



* Mitigate risk and protect the company and brands' reputation



* Support the expansion of all brands within KSA.



Qualifications & Requirements:



You will have:



* Considerable experience gained in retail, specifically working in large multi-country, multi-brand organizations



* A developed management style with a mature and logical approach to problem solving



* Effective project management, organizational and prioritization skills



* A high degree of self-motivation with a disciplined pro-active approach



* Strong communication skills and the ability to set clear direction in order to motivate, influence and guide stakeholders.



Arabic language skills are an advantage.
