Maintenance Engineer - Ja Ela - Loadstar (pvt) LTD.



Major Responsibilities/Tasks



1. Proactive identification of maintenance requirements using industrial experience and techniques, constant monitoring of machines etc.

2. Attend to all mechanical breakdowns and repairs of track machines as per works orders raised in order to ensure smooth and effective functioning:

3. On receipt of work orders, prioritise urgency, giving first priority to production requirements.

4. Coordinate with Engineering stores to obtain all required spares and in the event of unavailability raise an urgent request in the log to purchase whilst using a substitute/modification to rectify the issue temporarily in order to reduce production down time.

5. Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures when carrying out all activities.

6. Maintain detailed records of all faults and methods of rectification.

7. Inform Engineering Administrator of the stock status to facilitate timely replenishments; carry out purchasing of items on receipt of instructions as and when required.

8. Improve the preventive maintenance methods of Track division.

9. Carryout machine modifications to increase the quality level and to reduce machine breakdowns.

10. Prior to the scheduled preventive maintenance arrange all the necessary materials, spare parts required for the maintenance.

11. Update the relevant documents related to machines in a timely manner.

12. Make sure the brake down analysis and condition monitoring is done in a proper manner in order to reduce brake down.

13. Act as a driver for the BSC concept and development. Foster continuous improvement.

14. Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

15. Conduct the machinery awareness programs for new comers.



PROFILE



Professional



A BSc degree in engineering or NDT/HND/NDES Qualifications in with minimum 01years experience in a large manufacturing organization OR A./L ‘s with 4 years of relevant experience OR O/L’s with 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in leadership category
