Senior Engineer ( Design Department -Strategic Projects) - Loadstar (Pvt) Ltd.
REASON FOR THE POSITION
Key position which requires a solid background in the following fields:
• Machine & layout designing
• Mechanical Engineering
• Sound knowledge in Electrical & Automation
• Rubber manufacturing process or any manufacturing process
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Overall purpose of role:
o Typically responsible for machine & layout designing, detail drawings, prototyping and design calculations for new/modified tire and wheel processing machineries.
• Lead the Design process based on following tips:
o Problem Definition
o Conceptual Design
o Parametric 3D design
o BOQ & time line
o Detail design
o Prototype & testing
o Process review
• Lead the following ACTIVITIES:
o Carryout duties with capabilities such as creativity and innovation, attention to detail, ability to select functional and economic materials, understanding of a range of technologies and engineering drawings, knowledge of computer-aided design and rapid prototyping, knowledge of computer-assisted design software, ability to liaise effectively with colleagues in many other departments.
o Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
o Provide assistance with the preparation of project-related reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering with 05 years’ experience or Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 07 years’ experience.
• Excellent knowledge of 3D modeling, simulation, FEA and drawing detailing using Solid works and AutoCAD
• Sound knowledge in electrical machine, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics and automation is desirable.
• Knowledge in Ms Project would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English ( Both oral and written)
• Excellent problem solving, creativity and analytical skills
• At ease to empower & motivate his workforce
• Excellent leadership Skills
