Merchandiser - Salam International

Operational

1. Comply with all Health & Safety and Workplace Safety and insurance legislation.

2. Responsible for examining all incoming and outgoing merchandise for damaged goods that must be returned to their sources.

3. Stockers must keep track of items entering and leaving the stockroom.

4. Responsible to replace inventory as it leaves the shelves.

5. knowledgeable about store products and be able to answer questions about the product and where it can be found

6. Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished

7. Stock shelves, racks, cases, display areas with new merchandise.

8. Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.

9. Participate in regular meetings and briefings as may be scheduled.

10. Inform Manager of any repair work as soon as identified.

11. Ensure service readiness.

1. Participate in any scheduled training and development programs that may improve personal or departmental standards.

2. Ensure that relationships with colleagues are in harmony, maximizing team spirit and cooperation to the good of the business unit.

3. Report for duty punctually, maintaining a high standard of personal grooming and hygiene, wearing correct uniform and nametag at all times.

Administration

1. Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.

2. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

3. Ensure that any daily documentation are completed and filed accurately and punctually.
