Catering Manager

• Plans, organize and develop the food and beverage services of organizations and businesses, while meeting customer expectations, food and hygiene standards and financial targets;

• Ensures that the business contributes to the overall profitability of the company, and generates the proper cash flow;

• Scouts new accounts and continue to build sales;

• Ensures that contracts with clients are drafted correctly;

• Manages client relationships and uphold employee and vendor relations to operate a successful catering service;

• Should bring new business to the establishment, must prospect for new clientele by attending networking events and conferences;

• Total responsibility to manage the catering Profit and Loss;

• Negotiates with the clients, assessing its requirements and ensuring they are satisfied with the service delivered;

• Educate and schedule catering staff, and be vigorously involved in the improvement of existing catering employees in service methods, guidelines, measures, and menu arrangement;

• Should ensure the successful process of catering functions as well as work cost management, food cost control and grounding, operation, transportation, arrangement, and cleanup of all events;

• Creating reports and operating statements, operational budgets, review of the receivables and collection, and daily/monthly reports;

• Responsible for budgeting and maintaining financial targets and must strictly observe health and safety regulations;

• Negotiates with customers, reviewing requirements, and guaranteeing that they are pleased with the services carried out by the staff.
