Lead Engineer (Static Equipment) - Kharafi National

1. To check/prepare BOM (Bill of Material) as per drawings and calculations.



2. To check/prepare TDC (Technical Delivery Condition) and material specifications in accordance with project specifications and relevant code.



3. To review detail shop drawings, plate cutting layout and nesting program according to the construction drawings.



4. To review, approve and implement all engineering standards, policies and procedures.



5. To direct and monitor all personnel activities within engineering area including manpower forecasting, staff assignments and performance reviews.



6. To oversee the coordination and development of engineering plans and specification between other design teams.



7. To implement policies, established procedures and expedite workflow.



8. To manage design teams, programs or functions, develop goals and objectives and ensure that staff has an appropriate project understanding.



9. To prepare budget requests and administer adopted budget in assigned areas of responsibility.



10. To determine appropriate codes, regulations and requirements for projects assigned to staff.



11. To represent design team in meetings with consultant engineers, third party agencies, construction project engineers, professional and technical groups and sub contractors regarding project activities.



12. To interview prospective employees and make recommendations to management to hire and teach team members.



13. To take leadership of and provide direction to design team and manage and ensure resolution of problems.
