• Assess, diagnose, treat medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs. Work in coordination with other Sections with regard to education, research and policy development.
• Assess, diagnose and treat problems and diseases related to the foot and lower limb
• Observe and analyze gait patterns both visually and with the aid of appropriate equipment
• Prescribe, produce and fit orthotics and other aids
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Work closely with the units’ other medical practitioners
• Develop and deliver foot health education, and research, in coordination with the Health Education and Research Section
