ABOUT THIS JOB



Provide oversight of third-party vendors to ensure performance in accordance with contract requirements.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Provide oversight of third-party vendors to ensure performance in accordance with contract requirements



Involvement in procurement planning



Preparation and launching of calls to tender



Provide support to Project Manager in the administration of prime contracts, including prime contract review, administration and monitor of contractual correspondence related to change orders, claims and counter claims



Management of contractual information in SAP



Gather and compile support and technical data, documentation and evidence related to change order management and claims.





ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Significant, demonstrable experience in Contracts Engineering (5 years +) in and oilfield operations (drilling) environment



Expertise in contracts evaluation



Knowledge of drilling rig pre-qualification exercise steps and rig sourcing



Ability to identify potential areas of risk and exposure during commercial negotations



Baccalaureate degree, preferably in an Engineering discipline



Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and SAP
