Position: Senior Offshore Well intervention supervisor / operation
Experience: 10 years +
Detail description: The primary function of this position is to supervise contractors involved in well services activities. These include; Slickline operations, electric Wireline operations, pumping of cement, acid and other chemical treatments either by stimulations vessel or platform pumping equipment, coiled tubing or hydraulic workover operations and wellhead investigations and repairs. This position is a Senior Offshore position and as such will provide Technical Support to the Field Team Leader and other in field Supervisors. The position may also be required to occasionally stand in for the Well Intervention Field Team Leader.
The position requires a high level of understanding of Client existing wells and intervention techniques. Also there will be a requirement to interface with the Production Engineers to ensure procedures are prepared which can be effectively executed. The position will be responsible for the successfully implementing more complex well intervention activities efficiently and without injury to those involved and no harm to the environment. There will also be a requirement to interface with the Satellite Superintendent to ensure simultaneous production and intervention procedures are followed and any production downtime is minimized. The position will receive functional guidance from Well Intervention Field Team Leader and Well Intervention Superintendent. As this is a field based position the incumbent must follow HSE directives from the Offshore Installation Manager.
