As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and at least 7 years of experience at a petroleum refinery testing laboratory or equivalent.
Understand and operate different and advanced analytical testing equipment such as ICP, AA, FTIR, GC, GC-MS, HPLC, JFTOT, Octane engine and Distillation.
Commission, calibrate/validate all refining analytical lab equipment.
Apply and use international methods such as ASTM, UOP and IP.
Apply lab quality management system through ISO 17025 standard and total quality management.
Maintain lab specialist equipment.
Investigate analytical operational problems and write technical reports with recommendations to resolve such problems based on analyzing lab data.
Maintain and update working knowledge of applicable state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation.
