Sales Consultant - Gulf Solutions Group

The Sales Consultant has the responsibility to achieve maximum sales profitability, company growth and market penetration by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. The Sales Consultant will be required to perform duties within the realm of four strategic areas. These duties are outlined below:



FINANCE:

• Improve company profitability by identifying and capitalizing on sales leads and referrals; improving sales strategy; leveraging business networks.

• Responsible for developing the maximum profitable sales of the company’s products by becoming a value-added partner to potential clients.

• Contribute to gross-profit plans by analyzing trends; presenting results/findings and new proposed strategies to the Marketing Manager and Managing Director.



CUSTOMER:

• Promote and sell the company’s products and/or related services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based, client-focused approach.

• Successfully initiate, attend and/or conduct sales activities/events such as sales presentations, networking events, seminars, product launches and meetings with clients/external vendors.

• Deliver superior sales presentations to customers by fully planning each presentation with specific objectives; maintaining the customer’s interest; overcoming objections positively; reframing product /services features into customer benefits and the competent use of relevant literature.

• Compile winning business proposals in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Operations Team, addressing the client’s needs, concerns and objectives.

• Maintain high sales volume through the maintenance of a strong sales pipeline and keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

• Establish sales objectives and sales strategy by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the UAE and Oman; projecting expected sales volume and profit for the relevant product/service.

• Achieve sales objectives by developing and executing sales action plans.

• Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.



INTERNAL PROCESSES:

• Maintain full and accurate record of all customers by means of a sales database and CRM system. This includes information such as, but not limited to, company headcount, systems currently used, objections raised, response to previous presentations, best time to see, and specific requirements.

• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all weekly sales reports, maintenance of call records, handling of inquiries and feedback quickly and professionally and in accordance with company procedures.

• Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through cooperative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team goals. This will include input into budget planning, sales target forecasting and marketing/sales procedures as required.

• Ensure the prompt transmission of relevant information from the potential clients back to the Marketing Manager and Managing Director.

• Protect the organization's intellectual capital through the retention of confidential information.

• Contribute to Sales and Marketing team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.



LEARNING & GROWTH:

• Maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge of the GSG system and OPS services, company developments, industry information, customers, and competitors. This will also include a full and complete knowledge of the upcoming and current system features.

• Perform any other tasks which may be required by the Managing Director or Marketing Manager.
