Jr/Sr Planning Engineer - Pioneer Group of Companies

Purpose:

To provide full support to the organization for all matters related to Planning at the tender and the project execution levels.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Implement the organization's policies, plans and procedures as they relate to the position.

-Study and assimilate the contract drawings for new tenders and for projects entering the execution stage.

-Prepare programs of work using the Critical Path Method.

-Assign resources to the Program, as utilized in the budget and/or as directed.

-Assign cost to the various resources as utilized in the budget and/or as directed.

-Prepare the weight factors for the project based on duration, resource unit or cost as required.

-Prepare and update the planned s-curves/cash flow.

-Prepare the “look-ahead” schedules weekly, monthly etc. as required.

-Preparation of programs, schedules and manpower histograms.

-Prepare the detailed monthly report including the highlighting of the delay impacts and problem areas.

- Analyze actual data obtained from the site, compare with target program/schedule and report differences.

-Update and revise the project programs as necessary.

- Liaise with project manager/site planner for the progress reporting and monitoring for all time, resources/cost and attend the progress meetings as required.

-Follow up correspondence related to the progress of the work, submittals, material approvals, programs etc.

- Prepare practical programs of work for tenders under study.

-Perform any other related duties as requested by the Management.
