Operations Manager - UAE - Al Yasra Fashion

Drive the efficient and profitable operation excellence, ensure service quality is consistently provided to all customers, stores teams are positively led and empowered, quality store operations are maintained, sales targets are achieved or exceeded, and Company policies, procedures and standards are followed.





Financial Controls and Profitability Management

1. Drive and deliver sales performance.

2. Recommend budgets for shops and discuss them with Head of Operations.

3. Review shops KPI’s (sales vs. targets, stock reports... etc) and communicate performance to area managers.

4. Benchmark shops against each other, set/reset/clarify objectives and identify Best Practices monthly.

5. Review incentive schemes for shop team in liaison with Finance and HR and make recommendations wherever required.

6. Manage operational costs, in line with agreed business plan

7. Works closely with Head of Operations and all head office functions to optimize operational effectiveness.



Operations

1. Lead UAE business vision to ensure that shops operating procedures and standards are consistently and effectively applied, and business-wide policy, campaigns and initiatives are implemented.

2. Oversee in-store operational activities regionally to enhance operation excellence through scheduled and unscheduled visits to shops whether retail or wholesales and aftersales workshop.



People Management

1. Conduct regular meetings with Area Managers to review trade.

2. Ensure selection and development of productive and high-performing employees to meet staffing requirements through close liaison and co-planning with HR.

3. Ensure proper motivation and coaching for shops.

4. Ensure team receives necessary training and development as per job level to reflect on their capabilities and customer service.

5. Ensure succession plan in place and implementing properly. Deploy and plan promotion of staff relative to individual strengths to maximize business plan delivery.



Back Office

1. Act as first point of contact for UAE areas on high operational or integrated/related processes (. Logistics, HR, Finance, IT and Administrative Support) in coordination with Head of Operations.



Brand Management

1. Review brand performance with Head of Operations and Head of Buying on a monthly and quarterly basis and take necessary actions regionally.



Marketing

1. Liaise with Marketing Head on all marketing activities and strategies.



Customer Service Management

1. Put service standards in shops in liaison with CRM Head in order to keep the Company image and improve the service quality.



Business Development

1. Monitor conditions and trends within the local market

2. Build good relations with malls managements.

3. Identify and deliver initiatives to enhance business/ increase and improve sales.

4. Keep abreast of competitor activity and feeds back to the Managing Director.

5. Recommend new sites/business opportunities/expansion - additional task.
