Sales and Marketing Officer - Saudi Aerated Concrete Industries Company

Job Purpose:

To research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, or gather information to create a marketing campaign. May gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.



Areas of Contribution and Related Responsibilities:

Operational Involvement

• Prepares reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text



• Seeks and provides information to help ACICO determine its position in the marketplace



• Gathers data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution



• Measures and assesses customer satisfaction



• Forecasts and tracks marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data



• Attends staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services



• Develops and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs



• Directs trained survey interviewers







Customer relationship Management:

Provides knowledge and professional guidance to ACICO employees on related practices, policies and procedures to ensure compliance and implementation of later





Report Development & Documentation:

• Gathers, analyses data and generates reports to ensure management has the relevant information needed to support decision-making



• Safe keeps records such as but not limited to: contracts, project documents, suppliers and clients for accuracy and accessibility to key data





Policies and Procedures

Abides by the departmental policies and procedures, and keeps up to date with changing internal and external regulations to ensure compliance





Quality Control

Implements standard operating procedures in order to ensure that quality standards are implemented and adhered to





Communications and Working Relationships

Regularly communicates with concerned internal and external parties, using proficient oral and written communication to fulfill his duties and to ensure process efficiency.





Framework, Boundaries, and Decision Making Authority:

The job is subject to standardized work routines, practices and procedures with fairly general and well communicated work instructions. The job holder is expected to make routine decision within his scope of responsibility; he is expected to refer to direct supervision for guidance regarding any decision which is out of this scope. Supervision of progress and results is of high importance.
