The Senior Commercial Manager in Qatar will be seconded into a Multi Billion USD infrastructure cost consultancy contract will have the following responsibilities:
•Assess cost-effectiveness of design of project packages, contractor's bids, or consultant services, tracking actual costs as the project package develops.
•Co-ordinate estimate risk reviews and analysis as required.
•Confer with client, engineers, architects, project consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss and formulate estimates and follow-up on changes and adjustments to those cost estimates.
•Prepare cost estimates for use by management for the purposes such as planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
•Prepare cost estimates for use by client in selection of contractors, consultants, and other services.
•Maintain cost estimates for project packages and prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
•Specific assistance to the Senior Contracts Manager and also provide direct liaison with the Client's Project Team.
•Assist to identify risks to the project and implementation of a strategy for recovery.
•Assist with the preparation of both weekly and monthly contracts reports
